Another farmhouse, we love them. This one is really out in the country and needed some TLC. The last time it was updated, by the previous owners, the material selection was incredibly dated and did not wear well at all. The bathroom was not able to get any larger, so staying in footprint and working with existing conditions was important. We choose to keep things simple and timeless. We wanted them to be able to look at the bathroom in ten years and know it was still great. We choose to use a few period details, wainscoting and a pedestal sink. But to update and bring in some new features like tile that would wear nice in the county and cabinets with some storage.
