The owners of this ranch style home in Corvallis decided it was time for a major whole house renovation to create living spaces that were more open to one another. However, they worried about the environmental impacts on their three young daughters. We moved a stairway, laundry, and bedroom and redesigned the kitchen to create a more open floorplan. In addition, we made the project as eco-friendly as possible by incorporating green products into the design, including low-VOC paints, naturally dyed wool carpeting installed without glues, and cork flooring downstairs.
