This home was built in 1906 and has had a multitude of renovations over the years. Consequently the original kitchen is long gone. While many would want to recreate a turn-of-the-century look, our clients wanted a completely contemporary Kitchen. Integrating this into the rest of the home, was our design challenge.

We copied the vintage architectural columns in the Living Room as supports for the new island, re-used existing vintage doors & re-finished them to look new, and used Marmoleum flooring throughout the new space to give a nod to the past.
