We ended up removing structural walls separating the kitchen and living room, allowing us to re-engineer how this family lives in their home. Updating the functionality and look of the kitchen made this space better utilized and very elegant in appearance, while opening up the floor plan to the living room. By removing a wasted hallway, we were able to gain a larger kitchen and add a half bathroom and mudroom, all inside the footprint of the home.
