John and Darlene love the home they’ve lived in for 34 years, but recently their kitchen and laundry room needed updating. With both passionate about cooking, they were motivated to create their own gourmet kitchen. It was important to include high-end, professional appliances and functional kitchen storage solutions. They envisioned their kitchen’s footprint similar to the existing one. Adding an island would improve traffic flow and make entertaining easier. This would also provide the ideal counter space for food prep and buffets when hosting family gatherings. Also, the adjoining laundry room needed new appliances and they wanted to build a counter over the washer and dryer to better utilize the space. Tibma Design/Build previously remodeled the bathrooms in their home. They were pleased with our work, so they decided to go with Tibma again for this new project.
