Elegant Petroleum Bathroom
The homeowners had a vision of this bathroom being elegant and soft so we used beautiful, modern materials.
We decided on a color scheme of white and gray, which is the opposite color scheme of the bathroom across the hall, that the family uses on a daily basis, which is gray and white. We wanted both bathrooms to have a coherent design, so we kept the same colors with different accent tiles.
For the floor, we picked large 12”x24” gray tiles laid lengthwise to make the room look bigger and create a continuous flow. We gutted the old beige bathtub and replaced it with a bright, new white tub.
We also tiled all the way to the ceiling using white tiles. In this bathroom, the long soap niche needed to be the focal point, which why it is a gorgeous petroleum-look mosaic.
We found the perfect soft and elegant tiles, introducing lovely blues and purples that look gorgeous with every ray of light.
We also added new light fixtures and faucets, and the same rain shower panel to make this bathroom stunning.
