Re-designing a kitchen is a big project, and selecting flooring takes some consideration. Our clients decided on engineered oak flooring for their open plan family kitchen. At Sutton Timber we are totally confident our engineered floors are of the very best quality. We personally select the timber for all our flooring. The top oak veneer is cut to a minimum of 5mm and bonded onto birch ply. It is basically a top layer of solid wood glued to a birch plywood base. This allows the floor to retain it's stability. When you walk across it, it feels and sounds like a solid wood floor.
