When our clients’ parents decided it was time, and passed on their much-loved custom home to their daughter and her family, they truly felt that the home was perfect and didn’t need any remodeling. However, there were things about it that we felt could be improved upon, such as focusing more on the incredible views, allowing more natural light in, adding guest quarters, and making the kitchen/family room more user-friendly. With that in mind, the design team set out to keep the good bones of the home but update it in thoughtful ways. The result is a home that embraces its surroundings, as well as its occupants, and functions perfectly on a daily basis, as well as with extended family and friends.
