For clients with a love of the desert, it seemed to be a natural choice to build a custom home with some authentic adobe block walls, which could either be left exposed "as is", or plastered just enough to cover the earth-toned blocks, but still reveal the texture of the adobe underneath. This added wonderful texture to the walls, and provided a backdrop for an eclectic mixture of European antiques and contemporary furnishings.
