Flagstaff Kitchen Reface
In some remodel projects there is no need to knock down walls, instead you can replace surface materials. This kitchen had been remodeled twice before, and the homeowner was never satisfied. The true problem with the kitchen was not the layout but the dated materials. The cabinets were refinished and stained a darker brown to reduce the orange in the wood. The laminate countertops were removed and replaced with granite countertops with a chiseled edge. This added a very rustic look to the mountain house. The coloration in the granite has reds, greens and light browns. The track lighting was replaced with recessed cans that blend nicely with the pine wood ceilings. We removed the wallpaper and a re-textured the walls and painted a great green. We added cabinet pulls in an oil rubbed bronze. We completed the reface with new stainless steel appliances.
