The Freeman home needed some major renovations to transform the dark, outdated space into a cozy yet modern family kitchen, dining, and living area. The plumbing and electrical were completely redone and walls, floors, and cabinets were whitewashed to prepare them for a brighter color scheme.

In the kitchen, new stainless steel appliances were added along with more storage cabinets. A larger, more practical kitchen island was installed with added seating and storage underneath to keep the kitchen from getting cluttered. The new color scheme of grey and white makes the space feel cleaner and brighter.

In the living room, new plush sofas are complemented by the bright beige wall color and hardwood floor finish. This allows the natural light to accent the room, while the fireplace provides a cozy touch.
