The existing landscape was old, overgrown, and in need of renovation.

Master Plan

The original walk curved around the house and did not provide a focal point. The new walk was pulled away from the walk and a square inset in the walk helped place the front door as the focal point. Two Korean lilac standards flank the stoop to emphasize the focal point.
