The pool in this beautiful retreat-like backyard received a major update – the shape was changed to a rectangle, swim-outs and new steps integrated into the pool, a pool cover added, and a new Pebble Tech finish and tiles installed. The modernized pool inspired a beautiful, clean-lined landscape design with 2’ x 2’ concrete step stones and planting areas with ground-cover and succulents around the pool, a colorful slate patio, and a secondary seating area on a removed octagonal deck. Luxurious planting with grasses and large-scale succulents softens the straight lines and new screening plants adapted to the existing oaks give additional privacy.
