This small townhouse garden was designed to repeat the modern look and a color scheme the owner had picked inside her newly remodeled home. Since space was limited, we took the eye up by installing colorful shade sails and kept the space uncluttered and easy to navigate with a relatively spacious deck, a large bright-green planter with integrated lighting and bamboo, and a generous water feature that doubles as a seat wall in-between. The fence was painted to recede into the background. Minimal planting through gravel repeats the colors all over again and interesting, smaller planters with single succulents and cacti act as focal points.
