Our clients purchased this second home as a test in the early days of the Covid pandemic to see if they could move their lives to her hometown of Milwaukee. The creative brief was to give a spec house interest and personality without completely starting over. We furnished it quickly, with lots of vintage and carefully selected modern retail pieces. Later we tackled a light renovation of the kitchen and bathrooms, adding warmth through lighting, wallcoverings, and custom touches like the hand-made tile in the kitchen. Art by living artists, some with Covid themes, join graphic rugs and neutral, organic textiles to create a light, easy home.
