This was an awesome transformation of a standard, boring, kitchen provided by the builder. The original made poor use of the space in this moderate-sized kitchen. The new island still gives plenty of room for traffic, but houses an astonishing amount of storage and gives the owners preparation area to spare. It's both a visual treat for the eyes and a fun place to prepare a meal.
