Whole House Remodel

This ranch-style house was seriously dated. The solution was to completely restructure the interior and add a bump-out sunroom on the rear of the house. This shifted the entire focus of the living space toward the large rear yard.
The kitchen was moved from the front to the back of the house and completely opened to the living room.
Nothing in the entire house was left untouched. The result is - in effect - a brand new custom home in an established neighborhood with mature landscaping.

This is the former dining room. The full-glass door to the rear deck is in the same location as the former dining room windows.

Kitchen

Beautiful to look at, it's also a fantastic kitchen within which to cook. Everything is at one's fingertips! You can see the glass door which leads to a walk-in pantry. It's large with room to spare.

Kitchen

The old bath was a dated monstrosity that was cramped and unfriendly. The new master bath features this large walk-in shower. Because of its large size, a door is not required.

Master Bath Shower

This new master bedroom had everything rearranged for comfort. Space was captured for the large master bath, a huge walk-in closet, and a true entrance into the bedroom as opposed to a simple door. The oil portrait of the owner as a young woman graces the entry and is viewed down the main hallway.

New Bedroom

The existing house had many rooms with doorways between them. In the process of remodeling, walls were removed and spaces opened to create long sight lines. The result flows beautifully and feels much larger.

Main Living Space

While all 1900 square feet in the house has been transformed, additional space was still sought out. This bump out extension of the living room not only provides a bright wonderful place in which to relax. It also ties the interior and exterior living spaces together visually.

Bump-out Sunroom

This is the old dining room on the rear of the house. Walls were removed or restructured. The windows were replaces with glass doors. And the entire kitchen was relocated to this space.

Future Kitchen

Yuk! The old kitchen. It's gone and this space is now the owner's private office.

Original Kitchen

The original bedroom was right out of the 60s. There was nothing special about it. Plus it was too small and everything was outdated.
