Great Room Kitchen
Project Overview:
We installed new 6”x8”x16’ faux wood beams on the family room/kitchen ceiling.
New Elmwood base, wall and tall kitchen cabinets were installed. The new perimeter and desk cabinets are finished with a white paint. The island and butler’s pantry cabinets are Knight’s Armor. All of the cabinet doors are to be Essex with a 3” door rail. The cabinet boxes are constructed with ¾” thick white melamine assembled with 8mm fluted dowels.
The wall cabinets are finished at the top with fascia board and crown moulding extending to the ceiling.
All of the new countertops are Lyra Silestone except for the countertop on the hutch in the butler’s pantry which will is a matching wood top.
The wall cabinets in the pantry have matching finished interiors and seeded glass mullion doors and glass shelves
The new kitchen sink is a Kohler Whitehaven apron sink with sink grids. The kitchen faucet is a Kohler 99259-cp finished in chrome. A Kohler 99270-cp pot filler with a chrome finish is installed in the back splash, over the cooktop.
The kitchen and butler’s pantry tile backsplashes are Essenze Bianco Craquele 2.5”x5” brick with a 1x10 Essenze Craquelle Listello decorative insert. In the kitchen a 2”x5” Essenze Craquelle Bordura trim is used to create a 25”x20” frame over the cooktop. The frame was in-filled with 2.5”x5” Essenze Craquelle brick tile and installed on a diagonal.
In the pantry five levels of 12” wide x ¾” thick MDF shelves were installed. The first shelf is installed at a height of 24” off the floor. The next shelf is 18” off of the previous shelf, followed by 15”, 12”, 12” and 12”.
In the mudroom and rear hall we installed Revive Ginger 8”x40” ceramic tile planking on the floor.
