An early 20th century Hawaiian home needed upgrading. Client desired to retain the flavor of the period. They talked with other designers and were told no space for an island. After measuring the space, yes an island can be installed. Cabinets (painted white) were custom designed to mimic a classic flush inset style which was a key look the client wanted for their new kitchen.

The craftsman style built in buffet with glass doors replaced the original assembly. The GE and Samsung appliances were blended into the final look by a great selection of floor tile. The special hanging lamp was an herloom type from Connecticut and adds a period touch to the final look.
