I was asked to perform the design and prepare installation instructions to be performed by the customer selected contractor. Customer supplied all products. New cross beam made it all come together. The major challenge was to verify the new cross beam design as above this space is a bedroom. Then needed to design how an existing beam was to attach to the new beam to prevent any sag. Once this was determined then the demo was able to begin.
