The Victorian homes scattered through the Highlands neighborhood of Denver are very distinct and ornate. Many of them have been restored over the years to their original beauty. We had the opportunity to work with an Owner to restore a front entry porch that had been removed many years ago. Working with the Historic Landmark Preservation offices we obtained an old photograph of the original home with the porch. This photograph gave us the road map to re-construct the porch and include the original details.The ornate detail of the gables was hand-crafted by our own team of carpenters to match the original.Turned porch posts were shipped in from a custom supplier and the scallop and shingle details in the gable were provided locally.The final touch was the selection of paint colors to bring this beauty back to life!
