Following the purchase of an adjoining portion of a lot from a neighbor, our client was looking to not only link the two properties, but also to realize an extensive Outdoor Entertainment area to match their needs. Early on in the design process, we decided to devote the new, upper lot as a large play area; while the area nearest the home was transformed into patios for dining and lounging. A large masonry grill station, masonry fire pit, cedar pavilion, and water-feature were placed within this area. Later the front was redone to match and extensive LED lighting added throughout.
