Historic Day House

The new owners of this historic home in Durango Colorado wanted a luxurious space to vacation and get away from the hustle and bustle of Atlanta. We did interior design on some remodeling and completed this whole home furnishings project including many local artists and fine furnishings. This historic home now shares a beautiful mix of old and new more contemporary comfortable furnishings.

This guest bedroom is on the basement floor which can be dark. We brought multiple colors into this space to brighten it up. These accent colors really made a difference and a modern design.

This space was created from an existing turret. The home was built in the early 1900's and we wanted to keep this space special and bring in some interesting elements. The walls and ceiling of this space and hand painted with silver leafing by a specialist. It is a complete showstopper.

This guest bedroom is on the top floor. It is also an office and open loft area. We wanted to create a peaceful area for all. The green really brings in the outdoors. With this being a loft style room, you can see the river and the trees from this space.
