Addition and remodel to traditional style home in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. I designed the expansion and remodel of the existing kitchen, family room and guest bath, along with creating a new jack & jill bath and new walk in closet. The front entry was redesigned to enlarge the foyer. One of the goals of the project was for the kitchen and family room to have a connection despite the split level. To this end I designed a bar with pass-thru to the kitchen and double sided glass cabinets to create openness between the spaces while providing seating, countertop and glassware storage. New built-in cabinets in the family room blend with the kitchen design and provide storage as well as the 5 point surround system for entertainment system.
