This new residence, located in the historic Inman Park district of Atlanta, presented a unique opportunity for Jones Pierce to create and construct a contemporary, open interior home that would also adhere to Historic Preservation guidelines. The home was designed in the prairie style, allowing for large groupings of windows that maximize the day-lighting and neighborhood views. The window details, capstones and the lines of the eaves emphasize the horizontals, yet the spaces created within allow for the integration of the client’s desire for a contemporary, open-plan interior.
