I designed 4 huge down-filled pillows in burnt copper silk and chocolate piping; then replaced the existing couch pillows fronts (originally covered in Southwestern-style print) with chocolate velvety-panels. The dark panels act as an anchor for the eye.

A new mantle, stone, and fireplace insert breathed new life into this room. The original brick fireplace was painted mint green with faux-sponge painted flowers and no mantle.

Original solid slab, hollow black doors were replaced with gorgeous custom glass paneled stained doors and new lever handles, allowing for the glow of natural light while retaining privacy to the private master suite.

I raised the fireplace stone by 3 feet, added a custom mantle and new insert. The original scale of the fireplace was dinky and abandoned in the large airy room with high ceilings.
