Designed as a very sculpturally dedactive modern block, this duplex exerts sophistication and charm. Simplicity and space are the table stakes. By using few but good materials such as metal cladding and brick on the exterior and natural stone and custom millwork throughout, the design is clear, continuous and well executed.

Although designed by Davignon Martin, the project is for the speculative market and meant to compete with the McModern infill townhouses. Built for under $200 per ft2, excellence in architecture and interior design is set to compete in a tight market. Interestingly, the design and detailing was developed so that the owner could self-perform construction yet be able to build to plans and details.
