This kitchen remodel transformed a cramped and outdated kitchen in to an open, light filled, and welcoming space. By removing a wall and a small mud room, valuable space was added to the existing kitchen footprint, enabling the new design to offer a large kitchen island, complete with storage for the multitude of cookbooks the clients had accrued over time. Wall mounted steam and convection ovens compliment the Wolf Pro line cooktop and Sub Zero refrigerator, with an additional wall mounted microwave. There was even room to incorporate a desktop with a view of the spacious backyard. In the living area, full length windows were removed and replace with beautiful transom windows in order to cut down on heat loss, as well as preserve peaceful views that were not of the neighboring home's living areas.
