Our client’s residence underwent a significant kitchen renovation led by New England Design & Construction (NEDC). Our client's primary concern was the outdated and cramped layout, which didn't suit their family's needs. The kitchen, untouched since the 1960s, lacked functionality and style, making it difficult for our client, the primary cook, to prepare meals and entertain guests comfortably.

NEDC's design team understood the importance of maintaining a classic Charleston Coastal style that aligns with the rest of the house. They introduced modern, timeless elements with a neutral palette of white and taupe, incorporating new shaker-style cabinets, durable quartz countertops, and a large single-bowl sink. The layout was reimagined to enhance flow and functionality without expanding the space. The existing appliances were updated with stainless steel finishes, and a new LG Studio Electric Range, Fridge, Dishwasher, and Microwave were installed. To optimize storage, a dedicated pantry space was added, along with thoughtful solutions for small appliances and a potential charging station near the coffee area.
