These stationary soft romans are outside mounted and hung higher than window frame to allow light into the room. We also wanted the top of the valance to be higher than the cabinet crown molding.

Design by Birdhouse Contrast flat band was inset to this pleated valance. Lined in cotton sateen. Mounted just under the molding and runs cabinet to cabinet, even though the window is narrower.

Design by Young Home Upholstered cornice was covered in a textured burlap type fabric. Welt along top and bottom of board.
