The Commons House

A fabulous home that is getting updated in stages. The little "Big Boy" room will last a long time. The dining room is waiting for a few chairs and a table to complete the space with the two tone silk panels. Jeff Goshorn and Rogers Settle designed the dining room. The white panels and valance complete the daughter's bedroom.

This little "Big Boy" room will last a long time. Faux roman shades with contrast inset tape were mounted to 1x6 boards to allow use of the plantation shutters. We used 5 different fabrics on the romans and pillows.

The faux roman shade valance was mounted to a 1/6 board to allow use of the plantation shutters. A navy flat tape was inset on this geometric green/white fabric.

This little "Big Boy" room will last a long time. We used 5 different fabrics on the romans and pillows. The pillow cover and insert were custom made to meet the clients requirements. Navy letters were appliquéd on a field of white. The roman shade fabric was used for welt cord.

5 different fabrics were used on this monogram appliquéd pillow. Roman shade fabric is used on the welt. Small dot fabric was used on the custom bulletin board, and the orange on the back ties in with orange accents in the room.

The wall to right is very close to the window frame, so a small end cap was used, and standard finials were used on the other ends of rods. This allows the panels to hang properly and not block the view. Design by Jeff Goshorn of Young Home, Spartanuburg, SC
