This homeowner wanted to ditch their unhappy lawn, and replace it with a water-thrifty, colorful garden. We removed the Fescue/Bermuda turf grass, added a low cheek-wall and installed a new fruitless Olive tree and drought-tolerant plantings. The result is a happy profusion of color and texture, as well as a lower water bill.
