This owner of this beautiful, large view lot requested a low-water garden to replace their tired lawn. The new garden needed to complement the existing pool and tropical plantings, like Canary and Queen Palms, and Bird of Paradise. The new garden incorporates a dry creek bed to add water retention and contours, and a natural rock recirculating fountain to provide soothing water sounds. We also added a new custom Coreten steel vegetable garden as a focal point. The homeowners enjoy their evening walk through the new garden, checking out their new interesting plant textures, their bounty of vegetables, and also the flora and fauna that visit.
