This project exemplifies design + build at a large scale. We seamlessly integrated new construction with existing & developed every inch possible for our clients while making the most with topography of the site. Previously the slope area was fenced off and undeveloped. The design of the timber steps and boulder rip-rap captures the slope into 2 additional areas used for bocci and gathering around the fire pit. The minimal plantings and clean lines on the upper level of the yard delivers the contemporary design language. The slope exhibits a more naturalist approach to design with the use of native plants and flora to attract pollinators.
