Lafayette Luxe Kitchen
Our Lafayette studio remodeled this sophisticated kitchen for repeat clients—empty nesters seeking a bright, open-concept chef’s kitchen with high-end finishes and thoughtful details. The project was a partial design-build project as we collaborated with other local professionals. We refined and executed the design, supplying and installing cabinetry, countertops, hardware, and lighting to ensure a seamless blend of beauty and functionality.
The design embraces a light, neutral color palette with classic elements, creating a timeless yet inviting space. A central island with seating enhances the kitchen’s openness, making it a perfect setting for both cooking and entertaining. Luxurious Taj Mahal quartzite slabs extend across the countertops and backsplash, adding a seamless elegance to the space. The cabinetry combines rift-cut white oak and painted white finishes, striking a balance between warmth and sophistication. A custom-designed kitchen hood with satin brass accents serves as a stunning focal point, while coordinated brass finishes in the lighting and hardware bring cohesion to the design.
To elevate the kitchen’s functionality, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, freezer, and wine refrigerator wall were incorporated, catering to the clients’ love for entertaining. Interior cabinet accessories provide smart storage solutions, ensuring that every inch of the space is as practical as it is beautiful. At 400 square feet, this kitchen is a perfect blend of classic style, modern convenience, and effortless elegance—tailored to support the next chapter of the homeowners’ lives.
