This dated early 90’s townhouse was totally redesigned for a newly married couple in Lafayette, LA. Formerly the husband's bachelor pad, senior designer Michelle Camalo was tasked with completely overhauling the kitchen and bathrooms. In addition, the clients asked her to edit and merge their individual existing pieces while incorporating new furniture and lighting fixtures into one cohesive design. The resulting lofty urban aesthetic was accomplished through the mix of vintage and modern pieces, the juxtaposition of masculine and feminine, all tied together through the use of a soft, neutral color palette.
