Built at the turn of the century, this Queen Anne Victorian had great bones and a lot of potential but was otherwise dark, drab and outdated when the firm was approached by the clients about transforming it.

Ty Larkins Interiors was directed to create an urban "Upper East Side" aesthetic but with a more modern sensibility. The walls and ceilings were covered in stark white paint coupled with dark espresso stained floors to better show off the owners' extensive modern art collection.


Elegant modern furnishings in neutral tones were selected to not visually compete with the vibrant colors found in many of the modern mixed media paintings. The results are a case study in modern elegance and comfort perfect for 21st century living.
