Lake Sammamish Project
The owners of this Northwest Modern home in the Lake Sammamish neighborhood outside Seattle contacted Tammara Stroud Design for a whole-house remodel. The 1970’s split-level home with sunken living room and dated features was overdue for an update. Creating a more functional kitchen was one of my client’s main priorities.
The original floor plan did not utilize space very well, so we opened it up creating an open concept kitchen, dining and living room. We also moved and added windows to provide maximum natural light. Walnut cabinets and quartzite countertop work beautifully together with Niche Modern Pendant lighting to create the northwest modern style my clients desired.
