Victorian Home

We restored this beautiful turn of the century Seattle home with modern grace and elegance. Built in 1891, the original space was divided into two parlors each with their own fireplace. The previous owners had removed the wall, opening up the space to expose a lovely lake view. The fireplaces however were uniquely different from each other, creating a visual break in the room and felt disconnected. Part of the renovation included connecting the fireplaces with one mantel, hearth and intricate millwork detail that pairs beautifully with the woodwork throughout the home. The palette is sophisticated, warm and inviting. The room is now filled with charming areas to entertain, relax with a good book or play a game of chess.
