The project began with an existing 1940’s era house that was quaint, but bland. The design added a second floor master suite and nursery and gave the front exterior of the house a facelift resulting in a handsome craftsman look with ample porch space. One highlights was the cozy atrium that links the second floor to the main living space and preserves the original spot of the fireplace. The whole project created a delightful urban bungalow in the historic yet trendy neighborhood of Ballard.
