This front was completely destroyed by insects. We treated the lawn area, aerated the ground, seeded, applied top soil, seeded again, finally rolled the seed into the ground so we would reach our maximum germination percentages.
A good blend of Kentucky Bluegrass, Creeping Red Fescuses, and Ryegrass is what gave this lawn it thick lush green appearance.
