This house had a extreme wash out problem. The client tried several times to establish the slope but failed each and every time. I to stop the rushing water we installed a drain box at the top of the hill to stop the running water. Reestablishing the crumbling retaining walls also helped significantly. I guess the solution worked out. The client was very happy years later.
