Our Challenge was to redesign a newly constructed condominium unit that overlooks Chicago’s lakefront in order to meet the needs of the homeowner, a former client who had left behind a large suburban custom-built home.

The Kitchen was not well laid out and had no island. By gaining access to the unit below, we were able to x-ray and drill the concrete floor to move plumbing into a newly created kitchen island. Every inch was utilized for additional storage with some cabinets backing right up to concrete structure for maximum cabinet depth. With storage still lacking, our custom cabinetry was employed to capitalize on opportunities for additional space.
