North Shore Home Remodel

The goal was to update and upgrade a 1920’s brick Georgian to fit today’s lifestyle within the existing footprint, taking advantage of the views of the lake and east exposure from all the living spaces.The interior living spaces were completely reorganized in a transitional style to make the home elegant, sophisticated, yet comfortably casual for large or small gatherings.

We opened the sitting space to the new kitchen and dining area to take advantage of the natural light, replacing all the windows in the home for energy efficiency.

White transitional kitchen with white stone backsplash and paneled refrigerator. Gray quartzite countertops add to its' elegant look. The formal dining room was eliminated and relocated the kitchen in its space.

We relocated the master suite into the east wing to have the views of the lake, vaulted the master bedroom ceiling into unused attic space, and installed a glass railed deck over the sunroom below to take advantage of the view.
