This large bonus room with knee walls and a single window is above a 3-car garage. The family wanted this area to function both a bedroom and a living/tv area. Our solution to this challenge was to install a hanging room partition and place the headboard on the window side of the partition and the arrange 'living room' on the other side. The bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, nightstand, and desk. The living room side has a sofa, a sleeper sofa (for guests), coffee table, two end tables, and media stand. Placing the headboard on the partition provides the maximum privacy for the bedroom. A perfect solution! You can see BEFORE photos of this project below.
