The floorpan of this 2 bedroom apartment was reconfigured to create a unified kitchen and living space that takes advantage of natural light from the bay window. Steel structural supports, uncovered during demo, became the anchor for an acrylic bar. The brick wall, also uncovered during demo, became a focal point of the living area. Wall-washing LED lights graze the rough texture of the brick. Custom cabinets were installed in bedrooms in lieu of traditional closets to save space.
