Union Square

This historic penthouse was reconfigured to create a shared kitchen and living space and to add a master bedroom with ensuite. The two existing bedrooms are connected with a new jack & jill bathroom. The existing spiral staircase is now a framed focal point, leading up to a reimagined roof deck. Custom kitchen cabinets anchor the Wolf and Sub Zero appliances. The original red oak floors were uncovered and refinished throughout the unit and new door trims and baseboards were added in the classic style of the building. The original window shutters were restored throughout, closing for complete darkness or opening to reveal stunning views of the San Francisco skyline.
