This historic penthouse apartment was reimagined as a peaceful sanctuary high above the hustle and bustle of the San Francisco streets below. The relaxed material palette allows the stunning city views to take center stage. Throughout the home we used warm, neutral materials that are rich in texture and sheen. The kitchen was opened to the dining area with a new bar allowing for better light and views in and out of the space. Warm wood cabinets and tile floors anchor the stainless Monogram appliances. The knurled texture of the pulls can be seen on hardware and plumbing fixtures throughout the home. The primary bath is a spa-like retreat with a quartz-encased soaking tub inside the large walk-in shower. The home is equipped for a modern family but the historic glamour lives on.
