Reorienting the island gives the kitchen a much better connection to the rest of the space - key for such an open space. All cabinets and woodwork were enameled white, and new appliances, plumbing and lighting were installed. The island and dining buffet are a very light blue color.

Originally lacking storage, custom cabinets keep everything hidden away in their places - including a tuck-under ironing board and hidden charging stations.

The master bedroom received new carpet, paint, lights and window treatments.

The master bath will be redone at a later date but for now new lights, sinks, faucets and countertops are an instant update. A great example of how only a few changes can make a big difference.

The powder room off the front hall received a total overhaul. The perfect vanity cabinet came in the form of a nightstand. Creative carpentry made it a perfect fit.
