This loft is the ideal bachelor pad with double height ceilings, a view, lots of space and a brand new kitchen. However, it was cold, lacked style and comfort and needed the elements to be tied together. Shift worked with the client to create a sleek, bold and modern design. The client, a busy professional, who splits his time between Toronto and Vancouver, needed a space that was easy to come home to and was ready to entertain in at any moment. Using the height as an advantage, Shift created a bold dynamic space. Large furniture, custom millwork and drapery, the use of natural materials and bold contrast, delivered on the criteria beautifully. The addition of custom art throughout brought a touch of elegance and the brand new full height wine fridge and ample storage meant there was always a bottle ready to serve.
